Shop In Person!
For the past few years, the main way people have discovered Franklin Woodcrafts has been through the Fairmount Fruit Farm Winter Market. It’s where I’ve been able to spread my boards out on a table, talk to folks face-to-face, and watch someone pick up a piece of wood, feel its weight, and say, “This one is coming home with me.” That direct, hands-on experience has always meant more to me than clicks or traffic.
Now, I’m excited to share that you don’t have to wait for market season anymore: my work is available year-round at Pour Richard’s Wine & Provisions, at 835 West Central Street in Franklin, MA.

The website is still there if you’d like to order online, but woodworking has always been something best experienced in person. A picture can’t capture the weight of a board, the smoothness of its edge, or the way the grain shifts when light hits it. You only know if it’s right for you once you hold it in your hands. Until now, the Winter Market was the only chance to do that. With Pour Richard’s carrying my pieces, there’s finally a permanent place where you can walk in, pick something up, and see if it feels like yours.
On their shelves you’ll find a rotating mix of cutting boards in maple, cherry, and walnut, some of my oven squirrels, and smaller kitchen helpers like salt cellars. It’s a great fit, because Pour Richard’s isn’t just about wine — they stock craft beer, specialty foods, charcuterie, and provisions that make cooking and entertaining feel special. My work belongs in that setting, alongside other things made with care.
So the next time you’re stopping by Pour Richard’s, take a few minutes to explore my display. Pick up a board, turn it in your hands, see which one speaks to you. Because Franklin Woodcrafts has never really been about online shopping — it’s about that moment of connection between you and a piece of wood that feels like it belongs in your kitchen.
Oh, and don’t forget some wine and cheese to go with one of my boards while you’re there!
